La Restinga is a swampy mangrove forest with water channels and lagoons. It is located in the middle part of Margarita that joins the Macanao peninsula to the main part of the island.

La Restinga is a national park. You can get a boat ride through the mangroves and then go visit the beautiful La Restinga beach.
